Special accommodation and arrangements:

Snow Valley Farms Inc. is not a hotel or Inn and is not in the business of a resort, however the property does have sleeping accommodations for a few guests and clients on a first reserved first served basis.

The most commonly used facility is the Bunkhouse which is contained within the tool and machine barn. The Bunkhouse can sleep six people on its two bunk bed arrangement of singles above and doubles below. It has a couch comfort chairs, a table, 20x20 foot deck, large bathroom, and some of the normal comforts of travel accommodations.

The Bunkhouse overlooks one of our small lakes from its picture window and deck area. It measures 20x20 feet over all with a deck of equal size. It is located approximately 150 feet from the family lodge and kitchen.

The Bunkhouse is "rented" to clients during the Family Day at the Farm basically for the cost of the cleaning services and the food service appropriate for a nice mini-vacation at Snow Valley Farms. Those costs run approximately $75 per person for the preparation of the site for a Friday afternoon arrival and a Sunday noon departure.

Those clients/guests staying in the Bunkhouse are served with the family from our large professional kitchen a Friday night dinner which generally is significant, Saturday and Sunday morning breakfasts, Saturday and Sunday lunch which is light generally sandwiches or burger style fare, and Saturday dinner which is again significant.

Our Bunkhouse clients/guests are not a profit making venture for Snow Valley Farms Inc. it is a convenience to those few who are fortunate enough to schedule a fun mini-vacation with the Family Farm Day.

The Bunkhouse does have restrictions with its use. There is no smoking in, on, or around the farm property and none is allowed in the Bunkhouse under any circumstances. Hard alcohol is not a part of the Snow Valley Farms format, as the farm was constructed and designed for a family oriented experience.

If weather and energy cooperate an evening bon fire is often started on our fire pit point overlooking our main lake with its active beaver, eagles, and loons. Generally we walk or ATV our way to the point and try our hand a cooking marshmallow while solving the problems of the universe.

The Bunkhouse client/guests are treated like family and asked to join in with any activity of the weekend. Our rules at the farm are simply to be courteous, kind, and thoughtful of other people. Be respectful of the people, property, machinery and animals of the farm and area. Above all else be safe, observant, attentive to your family and enjoy yourself.
